EVV Requests Comments on Geo-Perimeter Expansion

HHSC is accepting comments on the proposed geo-perimeter increase from 250 feet to 1320 feet (1/4 mile) of the members service delivery location.

* The geo-perimeter is the distance from the member's home address to the service provider or Consumer Directed Services (CDS) employee?s location, when clocking in or out of the Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) mobile app.

This proposal is to reduce administrative burden by limiting the need to manually update and verify visits that are out-of-range.

HHSC is asking EVV stakeholders to complete this survey [ [link removed] ] on the proposed geo-perimeter expansion. Comments will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. CST, March 4.
