Friend,
On Tuesday, I filed for election to be your Attorney General. We held a tailgate for volunteers and candidates at the crack of dawn at the Secretary of State's Office.
And Maria and Liberty Belle made it into the Missouri Independent. [[link removed]]

While I was walking up to file, I saw one of my former students walking in too. She was there to file for state representative. We got to catch up while in line, and it was such a great reminder of what all of this is really about.
I was the only Democrat who filed for Attorney General. Two Republicans joined the race: our Chief Camera Seeker Andrew Bailey, and former Eric Greitens lawyer Will Scharf.
The Republicans are attacking each other already, and they'll be spending a lot of money in their primary. Whoever wins that race will come out severely damaged from nonstop negative ads.
We have a huge opportunity in this race. This was the first office to flip Republican when Democrats controlled every statewide office, and it can be the first to flip again.
There's tons of energy to stop the extremism and corruption in Jeff City. Nobody wants Big Government interfering in our families. Nobody wants a chief law enforcement officer who allows illegal gambling operations to thrive in every gas station in our state all to secure campaign contributions. Nobody wants these people to defund our schools, allow massive corporations to poison our rivers, or let scammers run wild on Missourians' phones.
They do it because no one holds them accountable. We can have an Attorney General who does, who visits your town to ask for your input, and who gets our state working for the People of Missouri again.
That will only happen with folks like you taking back our state. So come hop on the team, please consider hosting an event [[link removed]] , and get ready for a tailgate coming to a town near you.
