Tim Walz: "When you elect Democratic governors, you get function over dysfunction."

John, I am going to give it to you straight. Republicans are more motivated than ever to retake power and drag us backward.

Instead of working with us in good faith to solve problems, Republicans at all levels of government are:

Banning books from their schools – while we’re banishing hunger from ours.
Demonizing our children – while we’re investing in education so children have the resources they need to succeed.
Restricting access to the ballot box – while we’re expanding it.
And they’re obsessed with what’s happening in their constituents’ personal lives and what’s going on in their bedrooms. Well here in Minnesota, we mind our own damn business.
Function vs. dysfunction. It’s as simple as that.

My fellow Democratic Governors across the country – from Michigan to Pennsylvania, California to Wisconsin, along with so many more – are fighting back against Republican extremists and getting things done.

And decisions like the one handed down just last week by the Alabama Supreme Court, that could drastically alter the future of reproductive rights, are paramount examples as to why we need Democratic governors. It’s simple, team: Democratic governors are fighting each and every day to protect the right to reproductive freedom. But the right won’t stop their dangerous attacks.

Right now, our nation – and our entire world – is at a crossroads. But I know with your support, we can hold the line and win against Republicans in 2024 and beyond.
