LCB Board Action: Trade Area Rules
On Feb. 28, 2024, during its regularly scheduled meeting, the Liquor and Cannabis Board took the following actions:
Final Rules Adopted ? Effective March 30, 2024:
The Board adopted final rules (CR 103) amending WAC 314-02-1071 on the term ?trade area? as used in RCW 66.24.630. The rule now includes language exempting spirits retailers owned by Tribes and Tribal enterprises, located in Indian Country from requirements prohibiting operating within 20 miles of an existing spirits retailer. ?
