Friend,

Do you think that Bayer-Monsanto, the creator of RoundUp, should be writing our pesticide laws?

That is exactly what is happening right now and it is OUTRAGEOUS. EWG uncovered that Bayer spent more than $3.5 million lobbying Congress to block state and local pesticide laws in 2023.

Overturning state and local authority on pesticide safeguards would be disastrous. State and local authorities can adopt stricter policies to protect communities from toxic pesticides than the EPA, which only reviews the safety of pesticides once every 15 years. It would be particularly harmful to groups like farm workers and schoolchildren, who often work or play near crop fields sprayed with pesticides.

Bayer doesn’t care about your health, just their profits.

The serious risks from increased exposure to unregulated toxic pesticides include:

1.
Harm to the reproductive system and human development.
2.
Harm to the cardiovascular and nervous systems.
3.
Cancer.

We need to protect our communities from the terrible health risks associated with exposure to toxic pesticides, but the odds are stacked against us. With so much money being poured into lobbying Congress by Bayer-Monsanto to keep spraying at any cost, we need to shore up as much support as we can. Can we count on you to share your thoughts by completing our quick survey by midnight tonight?

Thanks for your input, friend. Your generous support is what makes our work possible.
