John — Speaker Johnson is leading us AGAIN towards another shutdown.

Shutting down the federal government, furloughing thousands of federal employees, and denying Americans access to basic services is not a responsible way to resolve our nation’s political disagreements. The American people expect real leadership, not petty games that put our nation at risk.

Above all else, I believe in the Delaware way. We must come together and put our personal political agendas aside for the good of the country. I am more than ready to sit down and work across the aisle to find a solution that works for all of us. That’s what the American people expect.

Speaker Johnson needs to stop taking his directions from the far right and try bipartisanship. It's time for him and the House Republicans to take up that challenge and work with Democrats for the sake of the people we serve.

If you agree it's time to prevent a needless government shutdown, add your name right next to mine to urge the Republicans to fund our government >> [link removed]
