Discounted Rates End this Week!

Only a few days remain to book your spot at the Texas Historical Commission’s Real Places 2024 conference before the final rate increase. *Register by this Thursday, February 29 at midnight* at the full conference rate of $550—which includes all meals, snacks, and drinks during the conference, as well as the welcome reception and the THC Awards Banquet. On March 1, the full conference rate will increase by $100.

There are also discounted rates for students and courthouse stewards, as well as for single-day registrations. For multiple in-person registrations made together at the same time, there is an additional 10 percent discount applied to the second and subsequent registrations. 

Conference room rates have sold out at the conference venue, the Renaissance Austin Hotel, and the nearby overflow hotel, the Embassy Suites by Hilton Austin Arboretum. But those hotels may have rooms available at higher rates, and there are more affordable lodging options in the Arboretum area, including the Holiday Inn and Sonesta Arboretum. We advise attendees to book their rooms now to lock in the best available price.

Can’t make it to Austin? No problem! Virtual registration will enable you to attend all sessions, and both virtual and in-person attendees will have access to recordings of all sessions for up to 60 days—you won’t have to worry about choosing between great concurrent sessions!
