[1]Alex Padilla for Senate

Hey friend, its Alex.

Every time my team sends out an issue survey or asks for your thoughts, we hear from Californians concerned about homelessness and the lack of affordable housing.

That's why I wanted to reach out today to tell you about the bill I just reintroduced in the U.S. Senate — the Housing for All Act — and to ask you to add your name as a citizen co-sponsor to show that this is an issue that matters to Californians/Americans like you.

Addressing homelessness and housing affordability are complex issues with no one cause — and no one solution.

That’s why this bill includes more than $500 billion in funding — for large federal investments in existing programs like the National Housing Trust Fund, as well as for innovative, locally developed approaches to these crises.

The truth is, a lot of housing policy is decided at the state or local level. And it’s going to take all levels of government to solve this crisis.

But the most important thing the federal government can do right now is provide money and resources, and that’s what this bill does.

So please, join me and add your name as a citizen co-sponsor of the Housing for All Act. You can use this link:
