This ruling takes us back decades, John.

A recent Alabama Supreme Court ruling has threatened the future of IVF. By deeming frozen embryos to legally be children, this decision jeopardizes care for countless families grappling with infertility. Already, hospitals are canceling patient appointments.

Imagine the heartbreak that so many women and families must feel: after struggling to conceive or experiencing miscarriage, taking daily shots, and spending thousands of dollars, their path to potentially having a baby has been thrown into uncertainty by political extremists.

The implications of this ruling extend far beyond Alabama. Court cases in other states could follow suit and severely restrict fertility treatment across the country. This ruling reflects a broader trend of extreme Republicans seeking to undermine our rights and the dignity of women everywhere.

One in 100 babies is born with the help of IVF, and we cannot afford to let these extreme attacks spread nationwide. To safeguard access to reproductive services and protect the rights of women and families, Democrats must take back the House this November. With just 4 seats needed, Hilary Franz's race for WA-06 is pivotal in this fight.

Will you stand with us to keep WA-06 blue and defend reproductive rights by contributing the first $5 toward Hilary’s $10,000 end-of-month goal?
