There has never been more urgency.

Volunteers and I are putting signs up all over the district, including wintery Garrett County.

We’ve been on radio programs, participated in two Republican debates, started door knocking, and have attended meetings of Republican groups, all in the two-weeks since I filed to run.

I’ve talked with many people about the importance of this race. We are working hard for you, for your family, and for our country.

WHY? Our way of life is on the line. Our country’s future is on the line. There is too much at stake for us to lose the House of Representatives in 2024. This is the best race in Maryland where we can pick up a seat.

It didn't take long - less than 2 weeks - before another candidate started throwing mud.

We don't have time for that. Our country is too important, and this election is key. I am focused on winning against the Democrat candidate in November.

This battle is way beyond personalities. It is about the very heart and soul of our country.

It is about where we go in 2024 and what the leadership is going to look like. Will we have Speaker Mike Johnson exercising common-sense conservative values in the US House or, if we lose the house to Democrats, will we have liberal extremist Hakeem Jeffries as Speaker?

I am laser-focused on doing whatever it will take to secure the border and stop giving our hard-earned tax dollars to illegal aliens who shouldn't even be here.

In 2012, I worked with Marylanders all across the state to gather 10's of thousands of signatures in an effort to stop a bill that would pay 2/3 of the college costs for illegal aliens. Now, illegal aliens are stealing full scholarships from legal Maryland residents, and when they graduate they still can't work here legally.

The Heritage Foundation indicates that, "It is impossible to put a price tag on the devastation to families and communities that
crime ([link removed]) s perpetrated by illegal aliens bring. In 2022 alone, U.S. Customs and Border Protection arrested 1,142 illegal aliens who were convicted of assault, battery, or domestic violence; 1,614 who were convicted of driving under the influence; and 2,239 who were convicted of drug possession and trafficking." (1)

Thanks to our open and porous border, over 71,000 (1) Americans died from fentanyl in 2021 alone.

The open border is leading to the human horrors of human trafficking. For a sobering movie on the topic, I recommend the "Sound of Freedom." Unbelievable that our country has no control of our border and is allowing human trafficking to go unchecked.

The Biden Administration is intentionally defying our existing laws and is radically changing our culture so that EVERY U.S. city is now a border city. Crime is increasing across the country. In Montgomery County, car jackings rose by 28.6% in 2023 from 2022 and auto thefts rose by 131% (2). People keep literally dying from fentanyl and gang violence all as a result of an open border.

Would it be enough to say that I am angry? No. I am furious. We must win in 2024 to secure our border for our families and the future survival of our way of life as we know it.
