Friend — Join me in saying Happy Anniversary to the Green New Deal!

This month marks five years since Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and I first joined together to introduce the Green New Deal resolution in Congress.

Since that day, we’ve won some major wins for the climate and environmental justice movement.

We passed the largest investment in green energy and infrastructure ever seen into law with the Inflation Reduction Act, including $27 billion for my national climate bank program.

We put big ideas from the Green New Deal on the agenda until they became a reality, like the American Climate Corps, which will mobilize and train a diverse generation of 20,000 service members for the clean energy and climate resilience economy.

And we’ve elected more climate champions and progressive than ever before by organizing for climate action in our communities.

And that’s because of the unwavering commitment of this movement and the people who make our work possible.

We’ve been able to go up against the climate deniers, the special interests, and Big Oil and its lobbyists because we’ve had an incredible grassroots movement working together for change.

So, if you agree that there’s still more work to do to save our planet and secure a livable future, we need your help to keep up the momentum and push for even more action on the climate crisis.

Make a contribution of $5 or whatever you can afford today to power our movement for a Green New Deal. We won’t stop until we get the job done.
