1. Sharice’s story is unique in Congress. Raised by a single mom who spent more than 20 years serving in the U.S. Army, Sharice was the first person in her family to attend college, juggling multiple jobs to put herself through school. She went on to work in economic and community development on Native American reservations, helping tribes to create programs and initiatives for growth.

2. Sharice is a barrier-breaker. Sharice is one of the first two Native American women to serve in Congress and the first LGBTQ+ Native American elected to Congress. We need her voice and her perspective in Congress more than ever today.

3. We can count on Sharice to deliver results, not just talk about our problems. She’s tackling the issues most important to Kansas families — like lowering the cost of living, bringing good jobs to our community, and supporting our farmers and ranchers. Just a couple weeks ago, she voted for a bipartisan bill to expand the child tax credit and help nearly 150,000 children in Kansas.

4. National Republicans say defeating Sharice is one of their top priorities. They know as well as we do that whichever party wins in this district will likely win the House. So they’ve already raised millions to spread false claims about Sharice’s record. In fact, we’re expecting an extremist super PAC to begin airing TV ads against Sharice any day now.

5. Sharice is committed to protecting abortion access. We know that if national Republicans succeed in flipping KS-03, their odds of passing a national abortion ban go way up. Sharice is fighting every day to protect the right to choose, in Kansas and across the country.
