Kate’s calling to military service began after 9/11, which occurred during her freshman year at the University of Notre Dame. Years later, after attending law school at NYU, Kate realized that goal and was commissioned in 2017. As a JAG officer in the Air Force Reserves, Kate advises commanders and provides free legal advice to Airmen and veterans. Kate is running to fight for the district that made her the woman she is today and to advocate for the community where she is raising her family.

New Politics supports outstanding military veterans and national service leaders, alumni of programs like AmeriCorps and the Peace Corps, to step up and serve our country again, this time through politics. We were proud to be behind the movement of veterans who ran for office for the first time in 2018, and we have big plans to grow into the future.
