Hi friend,

As you may know, one of Michael’s biggest priorities is permanently expanding the Child Tax Credit to reach the families that need it most.

The House just recently passed a bill that takes steps to make this a reality.

The Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act is a bipartisan bill that includes $33 million to expand the Child Tax Credit. It’s an easy win for Colorado’s kids, but not everyone in Congress supports it.

Lauren Boebert, who currently represents CO-03, voted against this bill. It will benefit 16 million children and 28,000 kids in her district alone — but she chose politics and posturing over her constituents.

We can’t let people like Lauren Boebert stop us from making progress.

Team, will you sign our petition to support this much-needed legislation? Every piece of grassroots support makes a difference in this bipartisan effort.

The Child Tax Credit is designed to give working parents the breathing room they need to support their kids — whether it’s paying for rent, buying a new coat for the winter, or putting a healthy meal on the table.

Michael helped expand the Child Tax Credit in 2021. It was a huge success and cut child poverty nearly in half, but Congress let it expire.

He’s been fighting to restore it ever since.

This bipartisan bill is one of the best chances we have to make sure more families can receive the Child Tax Credit.

As the bill awaits a vote in the Senate, will you help us show how much support the Child Tax Credit has by signing our petition?

Thank you,

Team Bennet
