John,

I recently sat down with The Chicago Sun-Times to inform voters ahead of the rapidly approaching March 19 primary races for Congress. It was an opportunity to share my vision for the future and the direction I believe our nation is headed.

For almost 30 years, the 4th Congressional District, which I represent, was the only majority Latino district in the Midwest.

This, as well as the needs of our residents, shape my priorities as I seek re-election to continue representing your voice. From immigration to tackling gun violence and protecting our environment, my efforts are all about making life better for our working families and giving them the opportunities they deserve.

As I gear up for re-election, I'm doubling down on my commitment to serving District 4.

From my years of service in local and state government to my tenure in Congress, I've tirelessly worked to deliver for our communities, working with local leaders to secure critical funding through various legislative initiatives, supporting Illinoisans in times of need.

But, John, our work is far from over.

As an immigrantmyself who understands and shares in the struggles of our community, I am ready to continue advocating for our communities because they deserve nothing less. But I need your help to get there.

John, would you consider chipping in to our grassroots campaign? Your support will help us reach even more residents and make sure their voices are heard loud and clear in Congress.
