One of the candidates in this race remembers having to make do with water in her cereal before school because there wasn't enough in the budget for milk. She remembers the stress on her mother’s face when bills were due. She remembers laying awake late at night trying to find a way up.

The other was born with a silver spoon in his mouth.

Brian Fitzpatrick comes from a political dynasty with the connections and access to power very few people ever come close to having. His brother – a real moderate – previously held this congressional seat, and Brian rode his coattails into office. He's never had to make the tough decisions so many Pennsylvania families make every day.

Ashley grew up in a single-parent household, lived in government housing, and bounced around southeastern Pennsylvania with her brothers. She joined the Army at 17 so she could afford college. Ashley worked hard to graduate from West Point and pilot Apache helicopters – one of the most advanced, lethal helicopters on the battlefield.

There are enough Brian Fitzpatricks in Congress – good ole boys who are used to getting their way without much effort.

So let's replace him with someone who knows what it's like to have the odds stacked against you, who will fight for the little guy because she's been one, too.

If you agree, chip in $10 (or whatever your can) to help Ashley defeat Fitzpatrick and flip PA-01. Together, we can elect a battle-tested fighter for Pennsylvania's working families >>
