John,

Immigration remains a highly debated issue in our nation's political landscape, and rightfully so. That's why I want to share with you my unwavering commitment to reforming our broken immigration system.

I recently joined community groups, activists, and labor unions at the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights summit in Pilsen, the same neighborhood in Chicago that welcomed me when I arrived as a boy from Mexico, rallying for solidarity and support for migrants. Together, we called for immigration reform rooted in compassion, not criminalization.

As the first immigrant elected to Congress from Illinois, this is a key issue in my campaign for Congress and I've dedicated my career to advocating for compassionate and just immigration policies.

From leading efforts to push the White House for change to introducing crucial legislation providing a path to citizenship, I'm determined to create a fair and inclusive immigration system for all.

My personal journey fuels my passion for reform, but the fight is far from over.

Republicans continue to obstruct progress, showing no interest in creating a just immigration system.

That's why I need your support more than ever.

John, the primaries are rapidly approaching, and we need to make sure this seat remains Democratic to enact real change for our immigration system. Can you help us today with a donation to fuel our campaign and amplify our message for change?

In unity,
