Fellow activist,

As I stated in a recent interview with Public News Service during this Black History Month, it is critical we remember that historically, voter registration wasn’t meant to be easy or inclusive but to further restrict voting access for the communities we center.

More than 2.1 million eligible Pennsylvanians are still unregistered or at risk of losing their right to vote simply because they haven't voted in a while and could fall off the voting rolls.

That’s why this year, an affiliated organization, the New PA Project Education Fund, has an aspirational goal of registering 60,000 Pennsylvanians to vote. 60,000 is a doable number for us because we are a statewide organization – but only with your help.

Will you help support the New PA Project Education Fund as they register as many voters as possible ahead of the presidential primary by donating $25 or more today? → ([link removed])

To be clear: Pennsylvania does not have same-day voter registration. Residents must register before April 8 to vote in the presidential primary – that’s only 51 days away – and the last day to request a mail-in or absentee ballot is April 16.

As we set out to register voters, we will continue to center Black, Indigenous, and other people of color, immigrant communities, and the youth (17-35-year-olds) in this work.

We are going ALL OUT to ensure voters across Pennsylvania are registered to vote and informed ahead of Election Day. Will you join us in this mission?

Help the affiliated organization, the New PA Project Education Fund, register as many voters as possible in the next 51 days by donating $25 or more today. ([link removed])

The New Pennsylvania Project

The New Pennsylvania Project (NPP) is a voting rights organization with a year-round primary focus on voter registration, civic education, and mobilization. NPP centers historically disenfranchised and often neglected Black, Indigenous and other people of color, immigrant communities and the youth in our work. Through civic engagement, we ensure all eligible voters feel compelled to exercise their freedom to vote in the Commonwealth.
