Team, so many of you have taken the time to share your advice for candidates. And the responses have been amazing. If you haven’t had a chance to send in yours – there’s still time to share your thoughts and advice. [[link removed]]

Here at New Politics, we’re recruiting leadership talent where it’s needed most — in the work to strengthen our democracy. Every year, every cycle we recruit, coach, and build the roster of the next generation of service-oriented leaders who will fight for what’s right in public office because they know what it means to put community over self.

Through the “Serve, Lead, Unite” initiative, we recruited more than 150 candidates to run during the 2022 midterm elections. That’s an incredible number, and we’re aiming even higher to recruit 250 for the 2024 cycle. Learn more about Serve, Lead, Unite here. [[link removed]]

Our founder said it best —

“Embrace the possibility of failure; that's where many candidates falter. Dwelling on fear stalls progress. Here’s my advice: give it all you’ve got. Take it as far as you can. There’s no other way.”– Emily Cherniack

Thanks for sharing your advice and following along on the work we’re doing here at New Politics.

— The Team at New Politics

--

New Politics supports outstanding military veterans and national service leaders, alumni of programs like AmeriCorps and the Peace Corps, to step up and serve our country again, this time through politics. We were proud to be behind the movement of veterans who ran for office for the first time in 2018, and we have big plans to grow into the future.
