UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA UNDER FIRE AGAIN FOR ANTI-SEMITISM AFTER PROFESSOR CREATES ANTI-SEMITIC CARTOONS

Since Hamas terrorists savagely attacked the nation of Israel and its people on October 7, 2023, universities and professors across the country have spoken out IN DISGUSTING SUPPORT of terrorism and the senseless murder of thousands of innocent lives.

Most recently, Dwayne Booth, a lecturer of communication at the University of Pennsylvania and a cartoonist who goes by the pen name Mr. Fish, created and shared several anti-semitic cartoons discovered by the Washington Free Beacon.

One horrific cartoon “depicts Zionists sipping Gazan blood from wine glasses, a version of the ancient blood libel employed in anti-semitic propaganda that accused Jews of using the blood of Christian children for baking matzah and other rituals.”

Other cartoons of his portray Jews in a Nazi concentration camp holding signs such as “Free Palestine” and “Gaza, The World’s Biggest Concentration Camp.”

The University of Pennsylvania’s interim president spoke out against the cartoons, saying they contained “antisemitic symbols” and were “reprehensible.” However, he reaffirmed the university’s commitment to free speech and did not say whether Booth would be disciplined.

This comes after the university’s former president, Mary Elizabeth Magill, resigned in December after she refused to condemn anti-semitism during a congressional hearing.

    IN OTHER NEWS…

Nineteen professors at Princeton University formed the university’s first Faculty for Justice in Palestine group. A few of these professors include:

    Gayle Salamon

Salamon is a Gender and Sexuality Studies professor who believes “trans identity” is too often used as a “hypothetical… so the law fails to recognize the phenomenological living of transpeople.”

    Andrew Cole

Cole is Princeton University’s “Woodrow Wilson Professor of Literature.” However, Cole is outspoken in his beliefs that Wilson was a racist and says, “Unlike Wilson, he works against these pernicious legacies of racism in his teaching, writing, and activism.”

    Molly Greene

Greene signed an open letter defending anti-semitic sentiments from professor and colleague Satyel Larson, who assigned her students a book written by anti-Israel author Jasbir Puar.
