We wish we could report that Oregon Republicans have backed off on their extreme MAGA agenda, but after seeing the bills they've introduced this legislative session, it's clear they're just doubling down.

Here are some of the horrible MAGA bills Republicans are pushing:

• SB1536 would impose a 15 week abortion ban.
• HB4037 would make gender-affirming care for youth illegal.
• HB4054 would allow discrimination against trans athletes.
• SB1589 would attack our vote-by-mail system and make it harder for people to vote.

Republicans are doing this to attack reproductive rights, voting rights, promote their hateful rhetoric and make LGBTQ+ youth feel targeted.

Democrats won't let these bills pass, but the only way these MAGA rightwing extremists will learn their lesson is by losing their elections in November. Great Democratic candidates for the state legislature are stepping up across Oregon to unseat these extremist Republicans!
