I wanted to send an update on Ukraine and our work to defend democracy across the globe.

Despite being outnumbered and out-gunned, Ukraine has reclaimed over half the land seized by Russia during its invasion. They helped restart the commercial grain trade with Asia and Africa. And they largely neutralized the Russian Black Sea fleet without having a navy of their own.

But they can’t win this alone. That’s why I’ve worked harder than anyone else in the Senate to pass funding to support Ukraine. 

After months of hard work, we got it done. The Senate finally passed funding for humanitarian and military aid for Ukraine this week.

Now, we need to pass this bill through the House.

We need your help in this fight. Will you sign on to show your support for funding for Ukraine?

We can’t allow partisan battles to make us lose sight of what really matters. Putin knows he could lose on the battlefield but believes he can win on Capitol Hill.

Getting this funding passed through the Senate was a huge feat. But this is just the start.
