THE HILL: GOP delivers death blow to bipartisan border bill

GOP leadership has flailed and failed to make any meaningful progress. Let’s be really clear: Republicans tanking the latest bipartisan border deal - endorsed by the Border Patrol Union! - is just another example of them putting Trump and politics over the American people.

Democrats want to make progress at the border. Republicans are keeping it a mess. That's been the pattern we've seen since the GOP gained the House majority at the beginning of last year.

With yet another deadline for a government shutdown coming up, it's especially critical that Congress has the ability to act. This November, we must deliver blue wins up and down the ballot to take back the House and expand the Senate majority.
