THC Welcomes New Agency Executive Director

THC Executive Director Ed Lengel headshot

Dr. Ed Lengel, a noted military and presidential historian, joined the Texas Historical Commission in January as its sixth executive director. It's been a busy month of meetings and orientations but February will be no slower as Lengel begins visits to each of the agency's 38 historic sites to begin his journey into Texas history. If you're interested in hearing about these visits, follow the Texas Historical Commission on LinkedIn [ [link removed] ] and other social media, and look for more from our new director soon.
