Dear Friend,

A dozen red roses for Valentine's Day
costs, on average, over $42 - however, with that same amount,
you can make a lasting impact on the health, future and lives of those
affected by Alzheimer's disease.

A gift to help end Alzheimer's disease
is truly a gift of love. Please support the Alzheimer's Association
today with a generous Valentine's Day first gift during our Double the
Love Match Challenge.

Between now and tomorrow, February 14, you can have 2X the
impact on accelerating vital research and helping to provide quality
care and support, thanks to a generous supporter who wishes to remain
anonymous. They've pledged a $150,000 gift to the Association to
advance Alzheimer's research and have offered to match your gift
during this challenge - if we can raise that same amount by
February 14.

When we think about the risk of
Alzheimer's, we often think of the statistics.

Today, there are more than 6 million people living with
Alzheimer's in the United States and more than 50 million worldwide.
These numbers are expected to skyrocket to a projected 13 million and
152 million, respectively, by 2050 - an alarming rate that will
put more lives at risk and increase the financial and emotional strain
on families and caregivers.

However, when Alzheimer's affects
someone we love, it isn't about statistics at all. It's about the pain
of seeing the person you care so much about slip away from you and
feeling powerless to change that. But you aren't powerless. And you're
not alone. We're in this fight together until the day we realize our
vision of a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia.

That's why
I'm asking you - with the greatest urgency - to
join the fight by responding with your first gift right now. Your gift
today can still go TWICE as far to further our mission to lead the way
to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia - by accelerating
global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and
maximizing quality care and support.

P.S. There are so many ways to show
love, and giving generously can be one of them. Please don't wait a
moment longer to make a first gift that can go twice as far to advance
research and provide care and support during our Double the Love Match
Challenge. Thank you for understanding the urgency of this request.
