In case you haven't heard, the Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in a major reproductive freedom case next month.

They'll decide if significant and unnecessary restrictions will be put in place on mifepristone. Mifepristone is an extremely safe medication (safer than Tylenol!) that's used in medication abortion, miscarriage management, and other reproductive health care.

This is the biggest abortion case to come before the Supreme Court since Roe v. Wade was overturned. And it's a clear example of the way that Donald Trump continues to erode our reproductive freedom, even when he's not in office.

The fact is, this case is the natural progression of Trump's actions in his first term.

Matthew Kacsmaryk, the judge who first ruled on this case, was hand-selected by an anti-abortion extremist group because they knew only someone as extreme as him would rule to block access to mifepristone. Guess which President appointed him to the bench? Trump.

The Supreme Court is stacked with anti-abortion extremists—largely because of Trump. The same justices who overturned Roe v. Wade will decide in just a few months whether people across the country will continue to have access to a crucial medication abortion and miscarriage management pill.

This is the state of reproductive freedom after just one Trump term. We can't afford a second. We know it'll be far worse if Trump wins again this November.
