I am Marcella Lee-Wilson, Summer Lee's grandmother, and today I wear my
heart on my sleeve as I write to you not just as a proud family member but
as a Grandma deeply invested in the future of our community and our
country.

I'm reaching out because Summer’s Campaign is in a bit of a crunch –- they
are super close to hitting their mid-month fundraising goal, but are
coming up a little bit short! With only 2 days left, Summer and her team
really need a little extra push to make sure they don’t fall behind!

to be, and it's been tough for a lot of families to make ends meet.

Summer grew up not only seeing all this, but truly recognizing it. She saw
how things were especially tough for Black families and folks who didn't
have a lot of money. That's why she's been working so hard for everyone to
have an equal chance and a fair shot at a good life.

Supporting Summer is about wanting a better future for all of us. She's
been a real fighter for our community, and now it's our turn to help her
out!

Watching Summer grow, witnessing her unwavering commitment to justice and
equality, has been a source of immeasurable pride. I remember watching our
town struggle over the years, and she has always been determined to make
things better. She's the kind of person who draws people in with her heart
and her drive, and I truly believe she's exactly who we need in Congress
fighting for us.
