These are indeed unprecedented times for us here in the United States, especially in New York, and for humanity overall. We are going to do our best at MCN to ensure that our friends, families, community and ordinary New Yorkers have access to the critical information that may be able to address a pending need.

FOR INDIVIDUALS:

1. For immediate financial relief, you can apply for a grant from the Coronavirus Relief Fund being organized by the Islamic Center of NYU, Penny Appeal USA, and Celebrate Mercy.

3. For Food Assistance, check out Food Bank NY's numerous food pantries: [link removed][UNIQID]

4. For claiming unemployment insurance, follow the instructions here:

FOR SMALL BUSINESSES:

1. The NYC Office of Small Business Services has a host of resources for small businesses.

FOR NON-PROFITS:

1. Asian American Federation Resource Page: This is particularly useful for non-profit organizations:

1. CAIR-NY - This is particularly relevant if you or anyone you know is being affected by the travel ban:

2. The Sikh Coalition has put together a summary of the pending Families First Coronavirus Response Act ([link removed][UNIQID]) and what kind of a public benefits package will be made available.
