As a mom of three school-aged children here in Virginia and a proud product of Virginia public schools, I know that our public education system is one of the most important tools we have to set our kids up for success.

We need to make sure our public schools have the resources they need — and we need to recognize the value of teachers' hard work, focus on strengthening our workforce training programs, and support Virginia's extraordinary higher education institutions. And we need to stop creating divides that distract from our top priority: building a stronger Virginia for the next generation.

As Governor, I will work to address the teacher shortage, contend with learning loss, and make effective investments in Virginia’s public schools.

The success of every child in Virginia — as well as the success of our workforce and entire economy — depends on the success of our schools. The stakes are high, and I hope I can count on your support with a contribution to my campaign today:
