John, it’s Roland Gutierrez.
I recently participated in the very first debate of this election.
I’m about to explain what I said on the debate stage — but if you’re pressed for time tonight, can you spare just a few seconds to chip in a few bucks to help power my grassroots campaign? I’d be so grateful for your support in the fight to defeat Ted Cruz. >>
John, I’ll tell you what I told my opponents on the debate stage: This election is about pain.
The pain of gun violence. The pain of women’s reproductive rights being taken away. The pain of a broken immigration system.
But I know I have what it takes to help build a better future on all of these issues, John.
I represent Uvalde in the Texas Senate, and I’ve seen firsthand just how devastating America’s gun violence epidemic is — which is why I won’t accept anything less than an assault weapons ban.
When it comes to reproductive rights, no one will fight harder for them than I will — which is why I will vote to abolish the filibuster and codify Roe v. Wade protections into law.
And in the Texas Senate, I represent over 300 miles of the border region — which is why I know what it will take to solve the crisis at our Southern border better than anyone running.
But I can’t win this race alone, John.
It’s going to take all of us working together — chipping in $5, $10, or even $25 at a time — to win this race and defeat Ted Cruz. So please, can I count on your support straight away, John?
