John,

A golden idol with satanic imagery is coming to Houston to honor abortion.

Tell the University of Houston to stop the demonic abortion statue!

The University of Houston co-commissioned an 8-foot tall naked female statue whose braids are shaped like goat horns and its arms like tentacles.

Its clothing is a lace collar, fashioned to pay tribute to the late Supreme Court justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

The "art" debuted last year in New York and will come to Houston on February 28.

Will you email UH Chancellor Renu Khator today to ask her to stop the statue from coming to the university?

>> If you're in the Houston area, mark your calendar to come to UH on February 28 to protest with us, peacefully and prayerfully, when the exhibit is scheduled to open.

Creator Shahzia Sikander told the New York Times that she titled part of her exhibit “NOW” because women’s ability to have abortions is at risk right “now.”
Sikander added she made the statue to pay homage to Ginsburg because “she is a fierce woman and a form of resistance in a space that has historically been dominated by patriarchal representation… With Ginsburg’s death and the reversal of Roe, there was a setback to women’s constitutional progress.”
University of Houston official Dr. Maria C. Gaztambide said she is “proud” to bring the statue to fruition:
“Shahzia brings to the fore the imbalances of gender and race through this exceptional work. We are proud to join forces with Madison Square Park in bringing it to fruition...”

Written on the sculpture is the word “havah,” meaning “Eve” in Arabic and Hebrew, which Sikander celebrated, “Eve is also the first law-breaker, right?”

Disobedience to God certainly should not be esteemed by society, much less lauded with a statue.

Art should reflect truth, goodness, and beauty: three timeless values that reveal the nature of God. Art cannot have beauty without truth and goodness.

A statue honoring child sacrifice has no place in Texas.
