We’ve got a humanitarian, national security and constitutional crisis on our southern border. It is entirely fixable. For the first time, we’ve got a bipartisan bill that can fix it.
This bill is far from perfect, but if Speaker Johnson refuses to even bring it to the floor, it will show how political self-preservation always takes precedence over principle in Washington.
