In this time of great uncertainty, we have to look out for each other, especially the most vulnerable. No one should go hungry.

By now, you've seen the early implications of this outbreak. Our schools, food banks, food pantries and other community partners are working tirelessly to keep up the unexpected demand for food caused by the Coronavirus. Too many of our friends and neighbors are struggling with hunger, especially the longer this crisis continues. Please consider donating to your local food bank: [link removed]

We must stand up for Massachusetts families that are struggling to get by. My heart is with the parents that must carefully ration and strategize to make it to the end of the week. My heart is with the students who are uncertain of their futures. With the small business owners and employees that are facing a pandemic while under or unemployed.

Our neighbors need us to rise to the occasion today.

Thank you,

Jim
