It’s Black History Month, John -- a time to celebrate the contributions of Black Americans who got us to where we are today as a country. It’s also a time to reflect on what more still needs to be done to build a more perfect union for all Americans -- like combating voter suppression, addressing gun violence, and closing racial disparities in wealth, education, housing, and health care.
It’s an election year, and one of the best ways to celebrate Black History Month and advance progress is by electing leaders who will champion our priorities and fight for justice, equality, and progress. [[link removed]]

That includes leaders like President Biden who has delivered student debt relief, expanded access to broadband, and lowered prescription costs and who has appointed more women of color to circuit courts than all former presidents combined -- including the first Black woman to the Supreme Court.
We must send President Biden back to the White House, defend our Senate Majority, and flip the House this year so we can continue advancing our values. [[link removed]]
There’s no doubt we’re in for a tough fight in 2024. Elections require months of organizing and preparation.
But I’ve been in this fight for a long time -- ever since I was 12 and led my local NAACP youth chapter -- and I’m not giving up now. I hope you won’t either, John, because I’m relying on your participation from now until November.
Please contribute today to support our efforts to elect Democrats who will fight for justice and equality for all Americans. [[link removed]]
Thank you,
Jim
