Thanks to funding authorized by the CHIPS and Science Act [[link removed]] , global tech companies are now focused on building vital semiconductor manufacturing facilities right here in the US.
I fought for this legislation because I believe that bringing manufacturing back to the US boosts our economy, strengthens our supply chains and expands opportunities for American workers.
As a once single parent, working as a union electrician to support my family, I know what a difference a stable, good paying job can make .
I will continue to support programs, like the CHIPS and Science Act, which invest in American workers so they have the ability to succeed in a competitive global economy.
