Normally, we don't talk about Federal bills here at CGF. But today is not one of those days.

HR 5717, recently proposed by Rep. Hank Johnson, is the worst gun control bill we've ever seen.

If enacted, this legislation would:

- Mandate a special new license to buy guns
- Tax firearms at 30% and ammo at 50%
- Create a Federal "Red Flag Gun Confiscation" scheme
- Establish a nationwide gun registry
- Institute a federal Magazine Ban
- Ban all U.S. patriots under 21 from exercising their Second Amendment rights
- Ration guns by making it illegal to purchase more than one firearm in 30-day period
- Force new "Safe Storage" requirements on all gun owners
- Ban suppressors
- Force FFLs to spend massive amounts of money to comply with new "security" requirements
- Expand "Gun Free Zones" 
- And more than we can possibly list here in this space

Friend, this bill is a literal ENCYCLOPEDIA of gun control!

It takes every bad anti-gun measure we've ever seen introduced and combines it into one Federal Gunpocalypse bill.

Now we know California already has much of the gun control you see on this list.

But the devil is in the details, and passage of this bill would still eradicate all gun culture within a generation.

That's because HR 5717 would require a live-fire demonstration for new gun owners. 

In other words, the Government expects first-time gun owners to range qualify with a firearm they are not legally allowed to possess.

In other words, HR 5717 would ensure this is the last generation of Americans who are ever able to own or possess a gun.

And that's just the start. The bill would also slap gun owners with OUTRAGEOUS taxes, expand gun confiscations, and more.

That's why we need to take immediate action to fight gun control just like this.
