The Job Accommodation Network (JAN) newsletter is now available on their website [ [link removed] ]. JAN is a free service originally intended for employers who are figuring out how to accommodate their employees with disabilities.  They have expanded to become a resource for information about the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and for anyone with a disability who needs to find something to help them do what they need to do. This is a free service. You can use their A to Z accommodation list online or you can talk to a consultant for help finding what you need.  

The January edition of the JAN Newsletter focuses on supporting and accommodating employees with substance use disorders. The holiday/post-holiday season can be stressful and may trigger a relapse for some people in recovery. Now is a good time for employers to adopt recovery-ready workplace policies and practices to help support employees with substance use disorders and ensure they get the accommodations they need to continue working.
