NARF is celebrating 50 years of fighting for Native rights

Dear NARF friends and allies,

In this time of uncertainty, we hope that you and yours are safe and healthy. We wanted to let you know that we are taking all necessary steps to keep our team at the Native American Rights Fund well. We are monitoring the situation and making necessary changes to the way that we do our day-to-day business. We also will be making a decision soon about how to handle our 50th anniversary gala that is scheduled for May.

Even as we make accommodations for restricted travel and remote working conditions, we remain absolutely committed to NARF’s mission. We will continue to protect and advance the rights of Native individuals, tribes, and communities. In fact, in difficult times such as these, it is even more important that we continue to stand strong. We must be vigilant against efforts to reduce or eliminate tribal sovereignty as well as short-sighted laws and policies that will adversely affect our communities.

There are many challenges in the world right now, but you can be sure that the fight for Native rights continues. Even as our national landscape continues to change, know that your support will continue to make a difference in the lives of Native Americans nationwide.

We especially appreciate having you by our side during these difficult times.

Thank you.
