Hi John,

Yesterday I received word that our campaign is once again being recognized by Vote Common Good as one of their 2024 Candidates for Common Good!

A graphic featuring a photo of David with the Vote Common Good logo, and the quote: “Too often in politics it is more about scoring points for the team rather than advocating what is in the best interests of the country. In every action that I take I strike to look at how it affects us as a whole.”

Candidates for Common Good is a program by VCG to identify candidates who lead with values consistent with the common good. I proudly signed their ‘Love in Politics’ pledge which I consider to be a sacred promise to the voters of ID-02 and everyone I will serve as your next congressman.

In every policy, and every interaction I have with voters and other lawmakers, I will center the needs of the greater good.

We’re making big moves here in ID-02. I’m headed to the airport in just a few hours to travel to Arizona for this year’s LGBTQ Victory Institute candidate training.

While there, in addition to taking advantage of the expertise and strategic guidance the Victory Fund/Victory Institute have to offer, I’m aiming to make connections with candidates and activists across the country standing up for LGBTQ rights.

I’ll be tied up in this training for the next several days. Could you help me stay on track with our fundraising with a contribution of $25, $50, or more today?

I am grateful to have once again earned Vote Common Good’s support and the distinction of being a Candidate for Common Good. Vote Common Good does important work organizing among traditional Republican voters who reject extreme MAGA politics. We’re going to need some of those voters to flip this seat, and I know it can be done.

Thank you!

David

David Roth is a single, gay dad running for Idaho’s Second Congressional District. We’re going up against a GOP incumbent who has been in this seat for almost 25 years. It’s time for change in Idaho, and our grassroots campaign is building on the momentum that began in David’s race for U.S. Senate last cycle. The GOP is not planning to defend this seat, so we plan to take it from them and help Democrats retake the House majority next year. We’d love your support to build a solid campaign to bring progress to Idaho and the country.
