In my year in Congress, I’ve seen the many risks our democracy faces at the hands of MAGA extremists. But throughout my term, I have made it crystal clear that I will not back down from the fight extremists pose. From expelling serial liar George Santos from Congress to exposing MAGA conspiracy theorists like Marjorie Taylor Green for her role in perpetuating government shutdowns, I have continued to fight to protect the fabric of our democracy.

But the extreme and dangerous agenda that MAGA Republicans continue to push could destroy our economy and take away our hard-fought freedoms.

These lawmakers — who were elected to work for the betterment of Americans — are the very people who vilify immigrants who come to this country seeking the American dream, and oppose “big government” but are doing whatever they can to limit LGBTQ+ rights and abortion rights. These are the same people who are willing to let our government shut down if it means they will not get an unjustified impeachment inquiry into President Biden.

We cannot let them succeed. It’s time we take back the People’s House.
