Wow, what a day yesterday was! Summer took the debate stage by storm,
standing tall against her opponents, and WOW, did she shine! 

Summer wasn't just talking; she was preaching the truth—speaking up for a
brighter future for all of us – Black folks, brown folks, LGBTQ+ folks,
working-class folks, poor folks, and everyone else who's been pushed to
the side.

[ [link removed] ]Summer's out here fighting the good fight, and it's our turn to step up
and show her we have her back just like she has ours. Let’s show our
opponents what we’re made of by having one of the best fundraising days of
the year! If you can, please consider throwing a few bucks Summer’s way
today!

While Summer was all about the issues, talking about making life better
for everyone, her opponents were hellbent on making this election
negative, using their time to attack Summer and the families of PA-12. One
of them even had the nerve to say folks in our district "have no families"
and "live in squalor." 😳 Just like you probably are right now, the
audience was shocked at the brazen racism and classism from someone
running to represent the same people she was attacking.  

Summer’s other opponent started the debate immediately attacking Summer,
constantly interrupting and speaking over her, while continuously trying
to divide the communities of PA-12 against each other for her own benefit.
Her campaign is increasingly one against Summer - not one for the people
of PA-12.

Nowhere was that clearer than when the candidates were given the option to
answer what one bill they would pass in Congress with a magic wand.
Summer, without hesitation, said she would overturn Citizens United—the
Supreme Court decision that allowed for the unlimited influence of dark
money Super PACs and corporations on our elections that are directly
responsible for crises from abortion rights to gun violence protection and
our democracy. Her opponent? Didn’t even answer, instead felt the need to
use her time to distance herself from dark money Super PACs. If you ask
us, that's a big red flag!

This type of behavior on the debate stage from her opponents raises the
question: If they can’t handle a simple debate, how are they going to
handle representing us in Congress?

Summer's the real deal, the only one on that stage who truly gets what it
means to represent us in Congress. She's fighting for our struggles, our
hopes, our dreams, and our future.

after all of us, and we're not backing down. Let's rally, show our
strength, and make today a record-breaking day for our campaign. Let's dig
deep and give what we can, even if it’s just $10, $20 or whatever you can
afford.
