Hi All

You are invited to join our Teleconference Tomorrow Saturday 1/27/24 at 10 AM, for a discussion of California's Insurance Crisis.

Our guest will be Rex Frazier, President of the Personal Insurance Federation of California. You can see his Bio here.  Rex will provide us with the background of this crisis in the California insurance industry and answer our related questions.

We've all seen the news articles and some of us have been personally impacted by an insurance crisis that is evolving in California. For example, The Hartford Financial Services Group, a major provider of business, home and automotive insurance, will no longer write new policies for California homeowners starting on Feb. 1. Hartford joins a growing list of private insurers, including State Farm, Allstate, Farmers Insurance and USAA, that have decided to stop writing new policies for homeowners or leave the state entirely. Insurance availability can impact housing construction throughout the state

Regarding the 2024 legislative session, we are monitoring as new bills introduced. We won't see the full list of 2024 bills until the end of February. So far, we've flagged 38 bills to watch (linked here).

We updated our website to be ready for this session. There are many resources here.

Please donate here to keep us going throughout the legislative session.

If you have previously attended our teleconferences, use your previously assigned zoom link. We resend those on the day before for your convenience. Please don't share your unique link.

First-time attending?  You must RSVP at this link. Questions about attending? Email us at: [email protected].

Our target is to have enough monthly contributors to sustain us so we don't have to continuously ask you for donations. And we don't want to have a required membership fee like many other organizations. Just 140 people contributing $25 / month would sustain us. If you can be one of those 140 people, please donate here.
