Dear John,
I can’t believe it’s already been a year, but tomorrow is the one-year anniversary of the Biden administration's historic decision to protect the headwaters of the Boundary Waters for 20 years - the most significant conservation effort for Canoe Country since the 1978 Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness Act - and your support was crucial in getting us there!
But, these protections are only temporary and anti-Wilderness proponents are fighting to reverse them.
2024 is going to be a key deciding year for the future Boundary Waters. We are gearing up to go all out for the Boundary Waters, and with you by our side we won’t let Wilderness protections be reversed or compromised.
That is where you come in. With our 2024 plans in place, we need financial resources to make them happen. Can you chip in $15 a month and help us start 2024 strong for the Boundary Waters right now? [[link removed]]

In serendipitous timing, today President Biden visited the Twin Ports (Duluth, MN and Superior, Wisconsin) and I can't help but reflect on all of the good the administration has done for economic development in communities neighboring the Boundary Waters from preserving our clean water legacy in Minnesota to catalyzing economic opportunities throughout Canoe Country.
Your support has been crucial to our success, and we deeply appreciate your dedication to the Wilderness. Together, let's defend this place and safeguard the Boundary Waters for future generations.
Thank you for being part of this long portage.
