On Monday this week, Governor Josh Green delivered the annual State of the State address to the assembled State Legislature and the people of Hawaii.

There are still too many local families who are moving to the mainland seeking more affordable housing and a lower cost of living. We must find new ways to reduce the cost of housing, food, and healthcare, and make Hawaii more affordable for our people."

In the address, Governor Green made a number of specific policy proposals to support the Maui recovery, make housing more affordable for Hawaii residents, reduce homelessness, and lower the cost of living in our state, including: *
