The petition process is starting today! It’s an important time for our campaign and exciting for me as a candidate. To get on the primary election ballot in April, I need to collect 1000 signatures from Democrats in the district. It’s a chance for me and my campaign volunteers to talk to voters about the issues they care about and to gauge their support of my efforts.
We have a number of volunteers signed up to go door to door to collect signatures or host petition-signing parties for our campaign. We plan to add more over the next three weeks as well. Your contribution helps us with printing, campaign information, pens (that work in freezing weather!), and warm drinks and snacks for our volunteers.
