Our Rights Are Slipping Away!

Dear John,

It started with our right to bear arms and then our right to free speech, and now our right to worship. Our religious freedoms are evaporating before our eyes!

Whether you exercise your religious freedoms or not, it is hard to dispute the attack on Christians that is permeating our society. References to Jesus, and in many cases God himself, are being erased from our schools, from media platforms, and from print materials. Shockingly, NBC recently edited out the Houston Texans' quarterback's references to Jesus when commenting on a playoff win.

The effects of this are far-reaching and devastating to the moral compass of society. The drop-off in church attendance and the rise in crime, gambling and drugs is not a coincidence.

This country was founded on religious freedom, and people have the right to choose to worship as they see fit - and publicly express it.

The atheist, Sean Casten, is a promoter of the degradation of religious freedoms. According to a DuPage Policy Journal article dated Oct. 14, 2020, Casten has gone so far as to say that religion is for "scoundrels" and repeatedly mocks legislators that refer to the Bible.

Casten is working against the people of the 6th Congressional District - and against all Americans. Once I am in Congress, I will work to protect our inalienable rights, including Religious Freedom. It is time to remove the radical Casten and protect Americans.
