Dear John,

We are delighted to introduce AWOCHE Foundation as our latest Empower to
Plan partner in Kenya. We invite you to contribute to our URGENT, ONE-MONTH
CROWDFUNDING CAMPAIGN, supporting their transformative efforts in Nairobi's
densely populated informal settlements – Kibera and Korogocho.

In Kenya’s capital Nairobi, 60% of the urban population resides in 200
informal settlements, including Kibera and Korogocho. These communities
face severe poverty, challenging socio economic conditions, and elevated
crime rates. Basic necessities such as clean water, sanitation, hygiene,
health, and education are scarce, with environmental sustainability and
sexual and reproductive health and rights often neglected due to
insufficient infrastructure and resources.

DONATE [3]

Addressing these challenges, AWOCHE Foundation, has been steadfast in its
efforts to champion the rights and enhance the lives of the communities in
informal settlements, with a particular focus on the well-being of youth
and women.

With your support, AWOCHE Foundation will collaborate with KOMB Green
Solutions in Kibera and Korogocho (one of our previous E2P partners, who
you may remember!) to empower adolescents through mentorship, inform them
and the wider community about their sexual and reproductive health and
rights, and actively engage with the community to advance environmental
sustainability.

DONATE [3]

Today, you can make a difference by supporting this campaign and AWOCHE’s
work through your donation, big or small, directly empowering communities
in Kibera and Korogocho.

Your contribution is more than just a donation; it's an investment in
knowledge, health, and environmental sustainability – supporting a more
informed, empowered, and greener future.

Thank you for your continuous support,

Population Matters & AWOCHE Foundation
