Congress will soon vote on 2024 spending bills, which determine how much funding goes to lifesaving child programs. 

A lot is at stake here, John. Families in the U.S. can’t afford childcare and nutritious food, while kids around the world face record levels of humanitarian need.

Next up in Congress? Deciding how much support kids get in 2024. Speak up so lawmakers get the message: Spending bills should ALWAYS put children first.

New year, new beginnings. Right, John?  

But not every child gets a fresh start.  

Conflict, crisis and poverty followed millions of kids into 2024 – and now, Congress is setting budgets for programs that could change their lives.  

Here’s why we’re fighting for more funding >>  

• Humanitarian support is falling short. 400 Ukrainian health facilities are at risk of closing, displaced people in Sudan will lose lifesaving aid and Syrian refugees in Lebanon could have their food rations cut. TAKE ACTION.
• Childcare costs more than in-state college tuition in most states. Families across the U.S. are struggling to afford reliable care, and prices are rising faster than inflation.  TAKE ACTION.
• Our nation’s children are going hungry. By the end of this year, 2 million moms and kids will be waitlisted for the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC). TAKE ACTION. 

We can stop this devastation, John… but there’s no time to waste. What Congress decides in the next few weeks will determine how much lifesaving support children get all year long.
