Last week, St. Louis City’s Board of Aldermen unanimously passed a resolution calling on President Joe Biden to work toward a ceasefire in Gaza. We’re so proud of St. Louis for taking a stand against this bloodshed, which has already killed nearly 25,000 Palestinians in Gaza.

All of us must come together to demand a ceasefire to save lives.

Groups like the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), stand in the way of this path to peace. AIPAC has made it know that they are ready to spend $100 million against Cori and all Congress members who’ve called for a ceasefire since October. We can’t let them win.

This is who we are. This is St. Louis. We are proudly pro-peace, we are proudly pro-humanity, and that is why we are proudly demanding a lasting ceasefire and an end to the violence.

Congresswoman Bush and St. Louis are showing the rest of the country what it means to stand up for peace and humanity. And Cori’s doing this, knowing that the GOP billionaire-funded AIPAC is going to spend millions against her to punish her for standing up for Palestinians’ rights to life.
