What I saw in Iowa? The right-wing base is fired up and [ [link removed] ]all of us need
   to do our part now.

John, I’m on my way back from Iowa where I was one of the rare
Democrats to witness the Republican caucuses.
Trump’s lopsided win is a warning: His base is still motivated.
It gets worse. I heard many Republican caucus-goers say their party needs
a change from Trump, say Trump is bad, and still declare that they would
vote for him if he’s the Republican nominee.
I’ll be blunt: To save the country from Trump’s chaotic wrath, Democrats
   need to:
   A) solidify our base at a time it is fractured,
   B) convince swing voters we're better for working families while Trump
serves billionaires and greedy corporations, and
   C) pretty much run the perfect campaign in 2024. (No pressure, right?)
That last part means all of us. The PCCC is playing our role, including
meeting with dozens of national reporters in Iowa to lay the groundwork
for impactful media coverage in 2024.

The Guardian reports that we recently "held meetings with top officials in
the White House, House and Senate Democratic leadership, and senior
political operatives around Washington" to brief them on new poll numbers.
We diagnosed where Democrats are losing voters on economic issues — and
showed concrete ways we can get them back! Real solutions. And guess what?
The Biden campaign and other Democratic leaders have already begun to use
   them.
We’re planning more polling in the next few weeks with our friends at Data
For Progress to continue helping Democrats win swing voters by winning the
economic argument in 2024 — and doing our part to engage media to cover
   our side of the debate.

Thanks for helping to save our democracy. It will take all of us,
